1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or engaging Lighine's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or engage our services.

2. Services

Lighine provides custom software development, website design, and AI automation services to businesses in India and internationally. The specific scope, timeline, deliverables, and price for any project are agreed in writing (via a project proposal or service agreement) before work begins.

This website is for informational purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer of services until a project proposal or agreement has been accepted by both parties.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. Standard terms are:

• A 50% deposit is due before work begins
• The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, before final delivery of files or live deployment
• Payments are non-refundable once work on the relevant phase has commenced
• Late payments may result in pausing of work until the outstanding amount is settled

4. Client Responsibilities

For projects to proceed on the agreed timeline, clients are responsible for:

• Providing required content, images, and information in a timely manner
• Providing timely feedback on deliverables (within 3 business days unless agreed otherwise)
• Ensuring they have the rights to any content or materials they provide to Lighine
• Providing necessary access credentials (domain registrars, hosting accounts, etc.)

Delays caused by late content or feedback from the client may result in revised timelines.

5. Revisions

Each project includes two rounds of revisions as specified in the project proposal. Revisions beyond the included rounds will be quoted and billed separately. A revision is defined as minor adjustments to the agreed scope — changes to the fundamental scope or design direction may require a new proposal.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment:

• The client owns the final deliverables (website, code, design files) as agreed in the project proposal
• Lighine retains the right to display the completed project in its portfolio, unless the client requests otherwise in writing
• Third-party components used in the project (open-source libraries, stock images) remain subject to their original licenses

7. Cancellation

Either party may cancel the project with 7 days' written notice. Work completed to that point is billable. The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable if work has commenced. If Lighine cancels without cause, the deposit will be refunded in full.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lighine's liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. Lighine is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits or revenue.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. For ongoing projects, the terms in effect at the time the project proposal was accepted apply.
